Analytics overview

The analytics dashboard shows real performance data from your connected accounts. No fake data, no projections — only actual metrics from your Shopify store and Meta Ads campaigns.

Data sources:

  • Shopify Store — Revenue, orders, products, customer data
  • Meta Ads — Ad spend, ROAS, CPC, CTR, impressions (when connected)

What's NOT included:

  • ❌ Google Ads data (not supported)
  • ❌ Predictive analytics or AI forecasting
  • ❌ Competitive benchmarking
  • ❌ Multi-touch attribution
  • ❌ Custom reporting exports
Note
Analytics update in real-time as data becomes available from Shopify and Meta APIs. Some metrics may have a 1-2 hour delay depending on the source.

Shopify metrics

All Shopify data is pulled directly from your connected store's API:

Revenue metrics:

  • Total revenue — Gross sales for the selected period
  • Daily breakdown — Revenue chart showing daily performance
  • Average order value (AOV) — Mean purchase amount per order
  • Total orders — Number of completed orders

Product performance:

  • Top selling products — Ranked by revenue and units sold
  • Product conversion rates — Views to purchase ratios
  • Inventory levels — Current stock status

Customer insights:

  • New vs returning customers — Customer acquisition breakdown
  • Customer lifetime value — Average value per customer
  • Geographic distribution — Sales by location

Meta Ads metrics

When Meta Ads is connected via Setup Wizard, you'll see campaign performance data:

Spend & ROAS:

  • Total ad spend — Amount spent on Meta campaigns
  • Return on ad spend (ROAS) — Revenue / Ad spend ratio
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA) — Average cost to acquire a customer
  • Profit margins — Revenue minus ad spend

Performance metrics:

  • Click-through rate (CTR) — Percentage of people who clicked your ads
  • Cost per click (CPC) — Average amount paid per ad click
  • Impressions — Total ad views
  • Conversion rate — Clicks to purchases ratio

Campaign insights:

  • Top performing campaigns — Ranked by ROAS and profitability
  • Audience performance — Which demographics convert best
  • Creative performance — Which ads generate the most revenue

Tip
Meta Ads connection is optional but provides valuable insights into advertising performance. Most clients set this up after their first few weeks to track campaign effectiveness.

  • Dashboard refreshes automatically every 15 minutes
  • Manual refresh button for immediate updates

Weekly reports

Automated performance summaries delivered every Monday morning:

Report contents:

  • Week-over-week performance — Revenue, orders, growth rates
  • Top performing products — Best sellers with metrics
  • Ad campaign results — ROAS, spend, conversions (if connected)
  • Key insights — Notable trends and opportunities
  • Action items — Suggested optimizations and improvements

Delivery options:

Current limitations

Data source limitations:

  • Google Ads: Not supported — only Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads
  • TikTok Ads: No analytics integration (generate creatives and upload manually)
  • Other platforms: No data from Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.

Feature limitations:

  • No predictive analytics: Shows actual data, not AI forecasts
  • No custom exports: Data viewing only, no CSV/PDF downloads
  • No A/B testing automation: Performance tracking only
  • No audience targeting automation: Insights only, no auto-optimization

Meta Ads setup requirement:

To see Meta Ads data, you must complete the manual setup in Setup Wizard step 3:

  • App ID and App Secret from Meta Developers
  • Long-lived access token with ads_read permissions
  • Ad Account ID (act_123456789 format)
Warning
If Meta Ads setup is incomplete, you'll only see Shopify metrics. Ad performance data will show "Connect Meta Ads to view campaign metrics" placeholder.

Data accuracy notes:

  • Shopify data: Real-time with 1-5 minute delays
  • Meta Ads data: 1-2 hour delays due to Meta API refresh rates
  • Attribution: Last-click attribution model (Meta's default)
  • Currency: Displays in your Shopify store's default currency
